Multicellular Dynamics
in Plant-Microbe Interactions
@RYUKOKU University
Plant immune responses are triggered in response to pathogen challenges. Inevitably, the initial recognition of pathogen invasion by plants occurs at the site of infection. Thus, plant immunity needs to be regulated spatially and temporally. Indeed, our imaging-based analysis is revealing orchestrated vivid immune responses. A main focus of our group is to understand the molecular logic that governs the spatiotemporal dynamism of plant immunity.
